Every week I pray for a new mount, every week i get depressed checking there is no new mount. In fact, every week it is always the same item selling.
It has become a waste of time checking Trading Post.

It’s subscriber perks with a little more “gameplay” involved.
Pretty much every MMO has been doing this for many years for their subscribers, it just took Blizzard 10 years to catch on and try to iterate on it (which I am not 100% sure I like their iteration or not, I kinda just prefer my log in and get my currency and buy whatever without having to do extra stuff to get more currency).
Either way, way to go WoW, your about 10 years behind your competition on this!

There has only been two runs of it… So if every month you’ve been hoping for a mount, and only 2 months have passed, one of which having a mount (TWO mounts during that one, actually!)…

Personally I think they are gauging player involvement and might end up doing a battle pass like most other games, than they can make WoW F2P, but they need to be careful what they put on there.
What is the point? To add casual content to the game, to provide some ingame activities across the game for a currency that lets you pick from a selection of items, for fun.
Not every one has to be a mount. Or a pet. Or whatever, its not like we don’t get mounts chucked at us in the game like confetti at a wedding. Just go with the flow and try to enjoy it anyhow.

Agreed. Didn’t really want anything this month. But it just means whenever a caster set comes out I’ll have plenty left over.

So far, the trading post always had more I was interested in than I could buy for points. The cap of 1000 points seems really low, so that I just get as many transmogs as I can each month.
If I would buy a mount, I would miss out on all the transmogs, which is kind of meh.
Its so theres no rush in gathering the tendies
