Also, every time you want to swap to another character on the forums, it would send me another.

There was a recent influx of our old characters getting added to our account wide forum IDs. I guess adding in the last bits of our stuff.
I was inundated with post alerts from 5 years ago and a few of those "account no longer on hold"s as well.
So I’m guessing they’re still working on the account mergers for the forums.
Edit to add: 90% of the Gemini response is irrelevant for us, as we cannot do anything to stop the incoming messages, because it’s part of the forum ID character mergers.

It happened to me the other day as well, while also giving me notifications to replies to posts made when this character was still Lorelai, so over 6 months old.
I don’t think someone with MVP Status should be pedaling AI garbage without the knowledge to confirm that it’s accurate or helpful in any way.
Well, no one should, but especially not someone with any kind of status.

If you’re not having the issue, then it’s definitely not worth it.
If you are having the issue, then that’s a personal choice as to whether or not you want to try some troubleshooting. 
I can see if they’re still working on making things ‘account-wide’ on the WoW forum. I was under the impression they were done, but I could be wrong.
You’re welcome to ignore it. At least I was up-front about the info. MVP or otherwise, trying to help isn’t a bad thing.

An MVP is basically someone that posts a lot on the forums and generally attempts to help people. They don’t know every nook and cranny about how things work. Cut this one some slack.
