Serious, am i paying taxes to stormwind now? Why a single mount cost 90k gold? I bought any mount in legion because i cant pay that gold, and now this.
Am i bad farming gold? I know professions are trash now, but… Oh boy…

Well, to be fair the only other way to get that mount is to do weeks’ worth of dailies for rep.

Inflation… Many people made 10s of millions worth of gold in Legion. It was easy when you could make up to 10,000 gold a day per character just running table missions.
It could be a 333,000 gold frog, 2 million gold spider, or 5 million gold dinosaur.

See, Legion was almost a year ago. Prices for everything have gone up (I know, inflation), and while I’m sitting at more gold than I started BfA with, many people aren’t. Mats for everything are pricey on the auction house and it’s not like we have the sheer gold income that we had in Legion to justify those prices anymore. Just buying the materials for a cauldron off the auction house is ridiculously expensive.
And to top it off, for the first time in almost 10 years I have zero motivation to play the game longer than I actually have to for group content. I’ll play something else before I even consider WoW - and it used to be my go-to escape.

I will not bother getting any. It might be to ugly and blizzard will take it away. Or so overpowered they give it to all mounts.
They design via spreadsheet now, rather than what is logical or fun.
Probably one of those spreadsheet rows shows that there is still too much player gold hoarded away for their liking. They want it gone. They want you to be thankful for your 120 gold mission on your phone app.

Why farm gold when you can just sell a token and get the gold instantly?
I can make 5k in under an hour. I agree it’s super easy. I am not sure why people are always whining about how “hard” it is to make gold.

Think outside the box a tiny bit. You don’t need to farm to make gold. I literally just buy leather, cloth and bones and then craft and make 10-20k/day off of that alone.
I don’t even need to sit at the computer for 95% of the process.
Hell just a good skinning spot will net you over 10k per hour. Sometimes I feel like I’m not playing the same game as the other people who post on the forums.
It’s 90k baseline. With the exalted discount it’s 72000. Still overpriced but not as horrible.
What are you selling that makes 10k an hour?
Recolored mounts aren’t worth 90k to me, regardless if I can afford them or not.
