Hi !
I am deciding about upgrading to Sequoia from Monterey finally. But I would like to know if there are any problems with WoW running on Sequoia OS.
Any feedback is really appreciated ! Thanks

Works great on apple silicon. has about a 75/25 shot of being bad on an intel mac based on what i’ve seen.
I’m not 100% sure if it’s the OS as my network might have gotten a bit screwy after removing my MacBook Pro from the network for ~2 days. Since I updated to 15.0, I’ve noticed that I’ll be on normal ping 16/16ms for Sydney Australia, in Donogal and the game will randomly lag out. No ms changes but I’ll still see players moving around but NPCs will fail to spawn and using any type of spell or item will not go through.
I can’t even close the game normally. I have to force quit wow and start it back up again and that fixes it for a while but eventually I have to do the same thing.
I tried doing a delve just before and I had to force quit the game so I could transition between the Earthcrawl Mines and the Isle of Dorn.
I’m currently scanning and repairing the game for the third time.
I should also mention this happens with no addons installed/ loaded.
I had no issues before upgrading to 15.0
MacOSX 15.0
M1 Max chip
64 GB Ram
that happens every hour on hour for 10-15 minutes. it’s theatre event. Not likely you at all
It just happened in Hallowfall after I completed the PVP world quest and Beledar wasn’t active at the time
According to reddit. There is a problem with the internal firewall in Sequoia. I had to turn the firewall, my antivirus, anti-malware and network filter off (The last three I need for work so I can’t uninstall them) so I don’t lag out or disconnect constantly.
i read about that. i use little snitch just fine but internal firewall is off.
but yeah if having network issues according to many devs, including little snitch one which is pretty reliable, it causes corrupt tcp packets and disconnects/lag until you turn macOS firewall off
If you need your machine for work and use Zoom or any sort of work VPN, I’d hold off. A bunch of broken networking right now.
