I know I always feel unkillable when I solo as warlock. I loved destruction soloing on that MOP end game island back in the day.

Yeah, i noticed how… fleshy the other classes seem when i swap to them, though felguard seems a bit squish at times. Main what suites you best, or even what would fit best in your favorite covenant.

1 - From the Shadows inner workings
From the Shadows would be better described as a whitelist of Implosion, Demonbolt and Hand of Guldan who increases its whitelisted spells by 20%.

2 - Schools of Magic and Interruption.

Interrupts from mixed schools will block you from all the schools involved in the amalgam, exemple is Chaos will block you from all the schools of magic and Shadowflame will block you from Shadow and Fire.

While Interrupts on pure elements like Fire or Shadow will only block you in that school and won’t block you on amalgam spells who use that school.

An Interrupt on Shadowbolt won’t block you out of Hand of Guldan, but a interrupt on HoG will block you from Shadowbolt (Shadow) and Vilefiend (Fire).

This is an disadvantage on mixed elements, on the other hand, mixed elements will ignore mitigations of its pure elemenets form and go for the route of least resistance.

-10% damage from Shadow? won’t mitigate a HoG for exemple who will work as if its Fire damage, -100% on All magical effects? won’t mitigate Chaos Damage because Chaos is also physical.

3 - Chaos Bolt and How i will blow you minds.

Now, you will tell me “but AMS absorbs Chaos bolts, and you are clearly wrong about Chaos working as physical”.

Well, thats because Chaos Bolt isn’t really Chaos damage, its Chromatic damage (all magic elements, but not Physical or Holy) and i have proof.

I didnt think chaos bolt counts as chromatic like it did in legion. I think chaos is its own specific damage school now
