On the quest to get my second artifact for my monk, I used the portal at karazhan but it sent me to the wrong version of Dalaran. I got the message to get back to the correct timeline so I used the remix hearthstone. I got to the right Dalaran FP but then couldn’t get to Panderia. The portals aren’t working at all, then when I relogged, there’s an icon next to my character select screen to convert to retail. Can this be remedied or do I have to start over with a new toon and chalk this up to wasted time.
Without having experienced this specifically, I would suggest dropping the quest all together. Then pick it up again (and obviously don’t use the portal).
Don’t worry about the convert icon on character select, I have that too.
I get the option to abandon, but it won’t abandon it. It just sits in my log. I didnt see an option abandon it (its greyed out) so I right clicked, chose abandon, and after trying several times and relogging, it was still there.
Put in a ticket requesting support. Don’t put it as a bug report since you want a response/fix.
You can also ask in the Customer Support forum, maybe someone has advice about abandoning the quest or fixing the timeline issue.
