Here is an example of the garbage in this expansion which seems to have no logical reasoning other than to purely waste time.
Ittybits is a tailor and enchanter. The goal of this days session is to create a whole lot of Tidespray Linen Robes to skill up the tailoring then disenchant them to gain the Gloom Dust for her enchanting skill up. Each robe needs Tidespray Linen (16) and Nylon Thread (20). So away we go and farm up heaps of the linen; no problem; easy peasy.
Now it’s off to see Daniel Brineweaver in Boralus to buy the nylon thread. 20 per robe, 200 per stack. WHOA !! What’s this? Where’s the ‘stack buy’ option from last expansion? Double checks - nope, no deal; it’s not an option.
So I log in my banker in Ironforge and it’s off to visit Poranna Snowbraid . Yep, she will let me shift-click to open a window that allows me to buy anything from 2 to 200 of Heavy silken thread in 1 action. Does she, mayhaps, have Nylon Thread? Nope, no way.
So, right here is demonstrated the absolutely disgusting way our beloved game has been bastardized to stretch out the time of every single thing in this expansion. Being able to buy a stack of 200 thread is no game breaker. It does not give advantage to anyone as demonstrated by Poranna Snowblind’s sales over those of Daniel Brineweaver.
Here’s the real kicker. On a personal note, I am older player. I have arthritic finger joints. I’ll leave it to your imagination what clicking that BUY button 200 times does to my fingers.
The game developers need to take a long hard look at some of the idiotic things they do.
Please reply with examples of other meaningless time wasting you have found in this expansion.
