The fact that no NPC’s react to the death other than the click-to-read dialogue from some rando a few quests down the line makes it even worse

Very few NPCs react to their own deaths realistically. Male Night Elves yell, Female Stewards cry, and Goblins make that big grunt, but the rest are mostly nonchalant about it.

I found it sad especially with the level of character development early on.

I knew Sendrax was going to die when two separate characters talked about her having a bright future.
I still managed to be annoyed about it. Why can’t we just have nice things for once?

There is definitely some cut dialogue or an intern forgot to do their job that day. Boom dead…NPCs walk all over the body.
It was sad seeing her die 
I missed the old voice though from alpha / beta. She sounded similar to me but they removed it

Mojojo was more concerned about an egg than a dead co worker.
Oh yes Sendrax is so promising and will be leading a company or whatever one day if they keep this up!
Afterwards, who? This is why the story is kind of a joke in WoW.

Well maybe they talked about it when you were out on a quest.
None of the NPCs cared.
