Brewmaster is easy and powerful. If you don’t like tanking, I wouldn’t recommend it over other classes tbh. I absolutely hate WW’s mastery.

We’ve definitely seen better days, but the monk is still a fun, highly mobile class and very thematic. It can also fill tank, healer and melee DPS roles.,

Fist of Fury.

Everything else is meh. The whole drunken master aspect of Brewmaster is cool but it’s nothing to write home about. Mistweaver is a gimmick, pain in the butt spec. Not worth the effort.

You’ll feel slower playing any other class. I have 6 I use just for farming content, and that’s not discounting my old main (feeling casters these days). They just feel good to move around and fight with.

It has a strong theme.
Transcendence is one of the coolest most versatile movement abilities in the game.
They’re fast and have lots of movement.
They have a lot of buttons.
3 stuns, depending on race.
4 interrupts if you include those stuns.
Great AoE.
Can kickass in PvP if you’re good.
Self heals.
Can tank, heal, or dps so you’re sure to have a decent spec.

I got stuck playing my hunter because this expansion takes so much time and work to get one class/spec up to par unless you have hours to play. Otherwise I’d be playing my monk too.

Oh and you can shoryuken, hadouken, and tatsumaki senpau kyaku. Who doesn’t like that?

Well, seeing as how you’re posting on a Draenei, the Monk class allows Draenei to Mog into Leather. You can make yourself look like a Rogue or Druid LOL

My main mechanic is drinking beer so I feel less pain, but that pain always comes back around later. In that way it most accurately represents real life compared to other classes.

So if you want realism+comic relief boy do I have the class for you.

I guess if you never played it you won’t be depressed over how much was gutted from it, so for a new Monk, I would emphasize the unrivaled mobility, ability to stay on the target like glue, the fast pacing of it, the incredibly fun aoe, and the skill ceiling (albeit dismally lower than before it got pruned to nothing) that challenges the players that use it more than any other class.

Brewmaster is a beast at soloing with Stormstout’s Last Keg legendary and 4pc tier bonus.
Smashing things with kegs is just a good time.

WW feels like it could be much better, like there’s simultaneously a lot going on and not much going on. MW is fine, has two vastly different playstyles within it to suit your preference. I’ve never played BrM but i’ve heard good things.
