Okay, so I have the NE heritage and I want to use it on something, but I need a good class that uses 1h weapons.
Not really into the demon hunter or DK aesthetic for night elves so I think I might be screwed here. The armor came with a glaive mog, but said glaive is a 1h sword. Maybe like prot warrior? I’d need to find a good shield then though… hm.
Why not a rooj? Use something else in the extra hand if you don’t want a second glaive. You got options for flowery nelf stuff from either the emerald dream stuff or even the trading post.
Sadly I was on EU when all the flowery crap came out so I missed it on NA here. 
But, it’s an idea. 
I’ll give it a think over.
If you’re not attached to the glaive, you could go monk and scratch people.
Otherwise you’re kinda stuck with outlaw/protwarrior/SMFury for actually using swords or mage/warlock/monk for equipping but never using.
Monk can use the glaive, im pretty sure

You can go 1 hander fury warrior, there is a talent that makes it do more damage so you can keep up with the 2h players.
Everything is being re-tuned so I would keep an eye on the beta numbers for how good smf might be.

Survival uses 2h, staves and polearms usually.
So frost DK, SMF warrior, or rogue?
SMF warriors are super fun but not very effective. My vote instinctively goes there, if I didn’t get the legendary my nelf would still be SMF.
Otherwise my vote goes to frost, because I will never be caught dead on a rogue at this point.
Edit: oh right. Demon hunter. My class. I mean, do you really want to be stuck cosplaying Illidan 90% of the time?

I decided against demon hunter for that exact reason. Frost is an option, I’m not a fan of the overly undead aspects of the other specs though.
Might do that and a prot warrior for the void weapons from that one quest line(matched VE heritage).
I do enjoy creating characters around mogs.
Took bad i can’t settle on an evoker scale color.
What’s nice is the deathbringer hero talents emphasize the physical combat with frost tones. So it’d be easy to kinda RP a frozen battle made of sorts.
Before you can play a prot warrior you must sign here. It’s just agreeing to become a part of the 5% larger than any other class club and requires the Colossus hero talent to be taken.
