It’s true. Usually, I can think of something that would give me common ground with someone else, but I doubt we even like the same foods. XD
I don’t mean any disrespect at all, but I’m sure you understand that. I simply find it remarkable how different two contemporaries can really be. For all our differences, we could have lived 800 years and half a world apart.
Ohh…to add to the theme of in-game activities awarding appropriate mounts…maybe they could do a recolor of the book mount and tie it to the achievements for reading all the lorebooks in game? That would give more incentive to do so and it’s not a matter of ‘here shop, have $25 more dollars’ >_>

In all fairness many of the legendaries were baked into regular talents or spells. I know for a fact that fire mage has a legendary for first row talent. 
Im from the former Soviet bloc and lived under a communist party. If your biggest worry under capitalism is not getting a spell tome mount, trust me, the other side won’t give it to you either.

Yeah, every time I mention my political leanings, everyone suddenly becomes a refugee from a Communist regime. It’s amazing, really.
At any rate, Anarcho-Syndicalism bears no resemblance to the fascist communists with whom you are familiar.
That said, this game exists in the state it does because it was created and cultivated within a Capitalist system. I am not blaming Capitalism for the status of the book mount. I’m blaming Capitalism for the “everyone can’t win” mindset, because it runs counter to everything that matters to me.
Everyone can absolutely win when society is based on cooperation and mutal benefit. Not so when society is forced into competition with itself.

I actually think it’s a really cool mount that could have been the mage mount from the Class Hall in Legion.
I think it’s worth doing the challenge for. That being said, I sure haven’t tried doing the challenge yet.
They are now starting to put transmog sets on the cash shop. It was over a long time ago, folks.

…Because video games are meant to be beaten? Like, the whole point to a video game is to play it, and win? You don’t win by flinging money at something.
I really dislike “I’ll just fling money at it” to be the mentality people have these days. It feels so absurd.
And to me it’s like, okay so you bought the mount instead of playing the content. Now you’re gonna use that mount to… what? Fly to more content that you don’t want to do? To look nice while AFK in Orgrimmar?
That being said, I guess it takes all kinds!
Honestly there a lot of people that play the game just so they can do exactly this.

I lost the motivation to get it. And more mage tower stuff. Might get the 3 other tier sets I want. But the tuning is annoying. I only get happy after doing the achievement, mostly because I don’t have to do those fights again. Too much rng mechanics (spawn locations rng is annoying and cause cause wipes). It is also very annoying that it’s a limited time event.
I wish this an mage tower was up all the time. Having to decide do mage tower runs, or the timewalking stuff is annoying. If mage tower was up all the time I could focus more on other things and do it when I am in the mood to wipe 50+ times.
I see, that’s how you view it, very well then I shall add that to my collective of understanding

Maybe they just want to fly around on a book 
Maybe it fits their RP, maybe they are a librarian IRL and they get a giggle out of it. What reason a person has to do something doesn’t matter, if it’s what they want so be it.
