Well, at least you clearly demonstrated that really dont understand the meaning of the word.
Some people play for the difficulties the game has to offer and they like to be rewarded for their time. Taking that away from other players just for your own play style is incredibly selfish and toxic.
Luckily there’s a good compromise that doesn’t diminish for either party. You can go get your spell tome mount and RP with it, while those who like difficult content can also get it and be rewarded with it to show off their achievement. Woah both parties win.
Reel em in fellas!
So what your saying is your a solo player not a casual player.
And that’s why Shreds asked for a new thing and not something existing to be given for him. He requested a new and differently skinned and probably even cosmetically designed book mount. He isn’t asking for the same rewards so I don’t see the issue here.
Nobody’s suggesting anything be taken from anyone. I want a NEW and different book mount for the store. If they want one, they can buy one too.
They’ll have the challenge book, we’ll get the cash shop book. You’ll know the second you see the mount which one it is.
what’s your definition of casual? because mine is “plays casually” (aka, a few hours a week).
And that’s why I said, sure… as long as you can get the things from the store added in-game as well.
Gotta be fair.
And I say that as someone with disposable income. i have literally every single store mount.
People who avoid challenges and over-the-top effort because we use games to relax rather than stress out.
that’s just being entitled.
But you want it out envy of the spell tome mount. Absolutely no shot they will make a unique mount of a unique mount.
I mean, I don’t care at all. I already have everything from the store like you do.
Thing is, you’re attaching a caveat that only Blizzard can address to a customer’s request. I cannot green light your request, as I do not work for Blizzard.
Perhaps your proposal deserves its own topic?
Mine is not in hours but more on your skill level and what you do in those hours. For example, someone could hypothetically still run cutting edge content with only 12 hours played a week. It’s a matter of what you do with that time rather than what time you have for me.
People should take advantage of the wow token in that case, it makes anything obtainable in-game. I got gold and used it for tokens then got the cat mount for example.
Why not add everything to the store? Daily rotation of new goodies? So I just log on, swipe and log off until next day?
Then I’m entitled. I don’t know what you’re trying to get me to say. I want to buy a book mount. Period. Whatever you want to call me, go right ahead. I want what I want.
This is a new mount type. They will absolutely make variants in the future because the base model exists and the art team loves reskins. I’m just asking for one to be added to the store as a priority, because I would like one, and adding it to the store is the only way I’m getting one.
Or, if Blizzard really doesn’t want my money, make a book mount tied to the Loremaster achievement. I’ve had that one since Wrath.
Speaking of book mounts I’m surprised that there hasn’t been an Inscription book mount ever.
I’m sure Blizzard values more their total earnings (counting subs), than getting money only from microtransactions.
They used the mage tower to try to get people re-subbed. Why would they jeopardize that for a tiny percent of income from MTXs?
Wait, what?
Sorry, the mounts voted on were merely ideas. Hence, the lack of pics.
So no, the book mount was not originally designed to be given out to everyone.
Although, everyone can enjoy a book mount now if they are willing to put some time and effort into it…
…and level the characters needed to lvl 50 and lose out on Chromie Time for those characters…
…and spend hours reading guides to find out which gear, enchants, ect. are needed for each class and where and how to get them…
…and then spend months farming instances for the old gear and mats and leveling the professions needed…
…and resub every four five months to spend two weeks feverishly trying to beat each encounter.
See? Easy, peasy!
It’s like you’re not speaking the same language I am. It’s surreal, actually, that you’re not comprehending. Perhaps I am not being clear enough.
I do not want your challenge mode book mount. If I got it for free, but no one else did, I would never ride it because I would not care for the statement it made when I rode it. I want a completely new and different book mount added to the store, which takes nothing away from anyone and literally cannot jeopardize anything.
If you have any questions or struggle to understand what I wrote, feel free to ask for help. I will be happy to further clarify.
Xylem was enough I’m gonna pass, I’m gonna wait for 10.0 and let new balancing break mage tower and complete the rest for the book then.
Again, you want a unique of a unique, which will not happen. Blizz doesn’t put outright reskins (they at least have something flashy to them) on the store. It’s going to take away from the spell tome regardless.
5 min on wowhead and an hour lfr session is not “months of farming.” Fair enough on other points.
I think you are the one who lacks reading comprehension.
A store mount with the same model devalues the challenge mount. The challenge makes more money for blizzard because it encourages subs and MAUs. Microtransation money most likely doesn’t make up for the difference… if it did, you bet they’d have a store mount version of it.
