Male orc, when taking selfie it used to cycle through several expressions/emotes, but no longer does that.
(also minor related: seems like the camera is being held by character - which isn’t too bad, but angle is a bit steep - large shoulders armor cover part of characters face.)

I can confirm this is still happening for all races. It started when shadowlands prepatch hit and still no fix.

Would love to see a fix for this! Started playing wow with my mom and we’ve decided to take a picture after every session to see all of our progress. The selfie cam would be so much fun for this. The angle for Gnome female is super awkward, and no emotes, just dead stare into the camera

It’s making the Boralus S.E.L.F.I.E. camera quests a bit awkward to do, as the character has to smile. If you take the picture in the first 3-4 seconds it will register, but how many people are going to assume that?

The character also seems jittery.
This definitely feels like a bug. I can’t imagine they intended to make the S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera less interesting.
Just started playing again after years and found the camera. Hope the emotes get fixed as it adds some fun to the achievement. Looks like it’s been broke for a long while. Please fix!!

Still busted as of Feb 9th… Sad because I recently got lightroom to work on ingame photos for another MMO and was hoping to take character selfies here too…

Well pretty much ALL animations are broken when using the S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera, like if you walk/run using the toy, you just slide around.
sadly this bug still happens… no emotes, also u slide when walk or attempt to move, not to mention the zoom is a bit awkward…
This is slated to be fixed in 11.0 – The Return of N’Zoth
It’s probably never getting fixed at this point, or else is very low on the list of priorities to fix. Probably doesn’t help that they got a lot of flack over the S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera toy when it was added in WoD. It’s probably not perceived as a popular toy to use.

still broken!! while we have more photography quests than ever in DF. it would be nice to use our selfie camera without looking like we want to commit violence
