There is a demand for this. Make Self Found permanent for a Classic Hardcore Server. Im in a self found guild and it feels like two different games are occuring at the same place and at the same time with all the normals trading and auctioning and selling enchants etc.
no there is not. There has not been a single self found raid. Why? Because there is not enough demand for the risk. Otherwise why do you need a self found server for leveling? I leveled self found it didnāt make my gaming experience worse because I could see people who werenāt SF.
Then like it has been in the past when hardcore players and pve players shared space on a server as on Bloodsail Buccaneers. Everyone said that was fine.
Iām playing SF on Defias. Itās fine.
Have you looked at the HC population numbers lately? They are pretty low, and the vast majority arenāt SF. Overall, the zones are pretty quiet most of the time, not dead, but certainly a lot of times you have the areas to yourself. On my SF characters not once would having a SF only HC server changed anything. and made the SF journey any better, the world would simply be emptier.
Where do you find hardcore population numbers?
You either trust IF pro ⦠only counting Raiders PvPers so no good for HC, or you try some of the more shady sites ⦠not very accurate, or you painstakingly do a /who count of all players on your server. Youāll have to split /who into level segments ⦠some of them as low as one level and some even level + race to get them all.
Not sure of actual numbers, and looking at the raiding scene would be less accurate for HC then say on a normal Era server to judge the population, but both servers are low populations and neither are clustereds, with Skull Rock having almost nobody on it. While Defias has a solid healthy population it is low and you wont find any crowding, as example out in duskwood the other day, there was one other person, and I often find I can be the only person in a zone, or one of 2-4 people.
After seeing them merge the SOD servers, I am somewhat surprised they havenāt merged SR and Def, though maybe its just more of a hassle then keeping them both up.
I feel that often too. Iāts not what Iād call a bad feeling, but it can be akward. Especially when you run normally on some of your characters. I think a server for SF would have had a different atmosphere. Itās doubtful thereād be enough population to support it and so here we are.
For me it was kinda like āthe best we can doā thing. Better than HC on many of the other servers. Plus that was my original 2091 server. Ideally, what we have now is miles better. (imo)
Asma was ābornā there.
In mine as well.
btw got my Frontier burrito yesterday as I was passing through to fortify me on my trip back to TX
I needed it.
Oops, just noticed this.
