Please remove this battleground map from the game
Seething and nuDeepwind are rather punishing of poor macro/rotations.
I’d much rather they remove Temple of Kotmogu, such a badly designed BG.
On a side note, bring back Strand of the Ancients.
Wintergrasp and AV is frustrating as well. Ppl like to twiddle their fingers and space out…
The only ‘not classic’ small BG i like is Twin Peaks. The rest are utter bilge.
Replace Trashran with the SS/TM brawl.
People queue up for AV and WG because they expect to be carried.
BG’s are only frustrating when you’re losing.

Demo chasing simulator can stay on containment servers.
Well you see, I’m a healer.
Temple of Kotmogu is a battleground that requires no real strategy, it’s just a team fight. The team fight isn’t the problem, but healers are pretty punished in this battleground. Orb carriers receive less healing and the orb only affects damage done. I’m a Discipline Priest, even though I do damage to heal, the increased damage doesn’t transfer over to Atonement. It’d be nice if when a healer picks up the orb, it increased the healing that healer does instead of increasing damage done.
I’m sure it’s fun for DPS, where they can deal extra mongo damage, but its not that fun for healers.
Seething Shore is a weird battleground that atleast has it’s fun moments. It’s funny when I’m being mongo’d by melee and I use nitro boost, and for some reason instead of burning me for a percentage of my health it just launches me into the air where I can glide away.
It’s way better than Wintergrasp, adding another epic battleground to the rotation would help a ton.
It’s frustrating when it’s Seething Shore because I feel that everyone gathers in ONE group, where as I’m going everywhere the Azerites appear to try and capture them
It’s indeed the worst random battleground out there. The lack of communication often favors a team that’s slightly weaker team than the opposition. Getting killed in that battleground with a quick respawn can get pretty rewarding. Having some unkillable guardian druid makes it a free win.
That’s not really an issue with the BG itself. That’s players not doing the objective.
Yeah, it’s the anti-deathball map because you just lose all the other nodes.
Man, I swear people just hate any BG that isn’t some variation of capture the flag or controlling bases.
Both Seething Shore and ToK are solid BGs imo, and this is a hill I’ll die on. Both bgs offer a clear goal which helps in randoms, but it also allows for many different strats when playing as an organized group. They can quickly take a turn for the worse if your team loses its focus.
My favorite things in the BGs:
ToK: Stacking as many dmg boosts possible and going on a short rampage
SS: Feeling like I can make a solid difference when playing a tank or stealth. Slowing down the other teams capping feels rewarding
Yeah, Seething is a matter of who can better rotate/spin which creates a lot of losses despite overwhelming kills because the team isn’t properly rotating around.
Similar thing to some extent with Deepwind where if you aren’t paying enough attention to where the enemy team is going and react after a base has been hit it’ll already be too late.
I expect that someday On High will put their collective feet down and pull a Mommy Dearest: *“NO NEW BGS, EVER!”
My favorite thing to do in Seething Shore is to run around grab nodes while the rest of the team is fighting the enemy.
The same goes for Ashran, players just do whatever they want and think their method works. I’ve been going through too many losing streaks as of late. No one cares and this game is empty.
I feel like Ashran is one of the more flexible ones but everybody just coinflips at roc.
Yep. Strand was cool but put it in the epic catagory because they use sieges and stuff.
Temple is a stupid bg. I liked seething shores they removed it from rated bg rotation lawl after an exploit. Instead of fixing it they just removed it. We have no pvp devs when’s the last time you seen a pvp dev interact on forums with people in battlegrounds or arena
Heal your offense and have ppl wait for orc pickups, no real reason to heal an orb carrier who is at a massive stack. healing your offense keeps orbs out of your enemies hands.
Seething shore is kinda crap though every one I join either my team or the other team is down 5-6 players for half the game.
