Seething Cache / Slug - Competition vs Group Content

What do you find more engaging and rewarding:

  1. A reward based on competition for who grabs the 3 orbs first and touch the cache, leaving all other players with hours of gametime wasted without results.

  2. A reward with puzzles and group interaction like the Hivemind that had content in different zones, jumping puzzle…etc

Devs should reconsider this kind of approach:

* Seething Cache now correctly cancels Insidious Insight on all players after being looted by the first player to reach it.

It doesn’t bring a good interaction to the game in the early days of the patch and it just turn waiting for another patch / expansion on one of the best option in order to avoid this “competition” for the cache. I’m glad I got the mount before this fix but I could see the frustation among players looking for this 3 stacks and later another player reaching the cache first, in some cases a player from another realm.

welp not doing this one till 3 expansions down the line lol
that was a bad move players working together and helping
but nope first come first serve

I got it before the fix in a group activity with a full raid, everyone got the buff and then we need to realm hope when we notice that only 1 player could loot it per realm, so not everyone in the raid got the mount. :man_shrugging:

that’s the best approach and it feels bad, in my opinion.

i agree why not have players who got the debuf still get it have the mount up for 2-3 mins before despawn
