No, I do not play era. I only play wow when a fresh server is out. Otherwise, I am playing another multiplayer game. I dont even think faerlina logs exist anymore.
I only play this game for pvp BGs and wbosses. But I like to perform in raids because I get whatever I want.
I’ve never even fought a world boss because I’m not in a NEET sweat guild with people watching spawns 25/8 so they can get the boss before anyone does.
That behaviour is why WoW is majority instanced.
The OG devs were EQ 1 raiders, they knew what people would do with open world raids/dungeons.
Those world bosses are intended as a “Here’s a cool thing you can do if you want to.” but the sweaty NEETs that are at the forefront of raiding turned it into an ego competition.

Maybe… idk. It’s really unclear to me why they seem to be catering to the same community they attempted to cultivate for SoD, and push it on the rest of Classic but that seems to be the case.
This is not true, everyone knows the AH is fully contaminated, we also know that low level buyers will buy gold because they think they can get in on the action this way EZ mode only to find out they cant afford anything they really want and that their gold purchase was enough for a mount and maybe a couple offset items that really are not high demand.
No one I know denies RMT gold exists in any server in wow history; its always been a thing since very early vanilla.
What I find amusing tho is people make believe that its the fault of a loot system that drives RMT; when the real problem is ALWAYS the gold buyers.
Ban the buyers with a permanent ban with no exception to that rule no matter how small and the word will indeed spread and people will stop buying gold.
Permabans would stop 90% of gold buyers.
You and I both know the sort of players who blame blizzard when they get banned for stuff would still buy gold.

Yup, ban hammer em without mercy… I betcha a big part of them would cry on the forums “I was unjustly banned for buying gold” when they know damn well the did.

People blame blizzard for everything that goes wrong, that wont change, but if they go hard after the buyers, and go just as hard on the bots and throw up more roadblocks for them, it will make a difference.
I think sharing accounts is against the TOS, so that justification alone is enough of a reason for the ban.

A legit player can ask to turn it off they just have to give Blizz their phone #.
That’s $15 more that bot has to earn before it pays for itself.

I was honestly hoping that was going to be the first step, but they haven’t gone farther. So many things they could do, such as cutting off the free transfers from the low population servers which are completely bot infested.
They even have bots on the HC server to funnel stuff to WM, I mean I know they can’t cut off those transfers, but honestly when its a level 1 alt with full bags of high value items, its got to set off some alarms.
This is why I don’t understand why they don’t just hire like 3 GMs per server cluster to literally fly around and ban bots for 8 hours a day. Our combined subs already pay for the server rental fees and maintenance.
I’m not talking policing the chats either, i’m talking literally flying around looking for bots and hackers(Like the people that fly hack in EPL and loot Black Lotus’ from below the ground.
