Seeds of Renewal Zone Overview: Discover Bel'ameth

Where’s the torch?

Few problems:

1.) Horde can access the zone. That doesn’t make any sense.

2.) The night elves belong in Kalimdor. This should have been near their ancestral home, not in the dragon isles. At least it’s not shadowlands though.

Can we get a new hippogryph mount?

I would say it’s nothing but a quest hub… except it isn’t even that, since it’s just a questline end location.

The things you listed don’t make a “better” racial main city, THEY ARE THE THINGS THAT MAKE A RACIAL MAIN CITY. Looks like what I said from boo (that this was never going to be a functional racial city) were completely true.

No new night elf players are ever going to start their journeys there.

There’s no functionality for max level players.

This is just a pretty shell put out there to be visited once or twice and forgotten as soon as the next expansion is out.

That’s because this is not even a piss in the ocean attempt at being a functional racial city. I’m not sure how people fail to understand we still lack a functional racial city and we don’t want a pretty but functionally empty diorama as a replacement. As a night elf player, yes, I’m disappointed.

We also don’t want horde in it and horde can laugh at us all they want, but there would be an uncontrolled, kicking and screaming, emotional nuclear explosion and meltdown level of tantrum from horde players if alliance were suddenly allowed to just walk into Org. Once again, I don’t know how people fail to understand the problem here. (Honestly, I don’t think they ARE misunderstanding the problem. I think they’re just being mean and snotty because anonymous settings allow people to be mean and snotty without any consequences.) BTW, know I say this as someone who pretty much has zero faction pride of any kind since I’ve played both sides of the fence since the start and I still see it as a problem.

I suppose this is really where I’m at with it. (Adding in how it really wrecks the feel of it being a racial main city. Of course, for it to be a real problem, I suppose it would have to actually BE a racial main city and it very much is not.

It is NOT anything remotely resembling a racial capital and it’s not functional as one either.

Briefly speaking from lore, you burned your own city down. Why is that a night elf problem?

No other race has gotten as much REALLY BAD, BEAT THEM UP AND LEAVE THEM BLEEDING IN THE STREET WHILE THEY’RE SPAT ON AND LAUGHED AT attention. That doesn’t count as “attention”. I don’t subscribe to the notion that any attention is good attention.

Orcs have nothing to complain about. Horde, in general, have nothing to complain about. Endless posts have been made pointing out how things are skewed better for the horde and have been since the start, but horde choose to ignore all of them in favor of saying things like “omg, we blew up your city! wah! that means you’re getting all the attention”.

Be my guest, Undercity is annoying.

When will the Horde be done sucking up to the Alliance? Help the NE with their new tree. Help the dogs with their little junk town. I guess now we can destroy from within. World of WAR craft turned into a PBS special on how to get along.

you went undercover as one of the Wardens

Shifting loyalties and making allies are all aspects of war.

Also you missed the war with the primalists and Scarlet Crusade.

The wife and I have barely made it into season 2 of Dragonflight due to buying a homestead and other RL time constraints. Bel’ameth is completely unknown to me, we haven’t even made our way into Zeralek(sp?) Caverns. Where does the Bel’ameth story start?

The campaign is teased in the 19 renown questline for the valdrakken accord, but this is skippable.

Then you have some teases in the dawn od the infinite questline, again skippable.

To start the questline that matters, meet shandris in valdrakken, start her questline, then after that start the questline to go to the emerald dream and do the main campaign there.

Is that what technically starts season 3? I think she is offering a quest for us, an actual verbal cue to talk to her. But we have skipped her for now as we are trying to go chronological. It’s good to know that she is the start of that if we want to jump right into that story line.

Yeah, basically. Bel’ameth is the epilogue of the season 3 questline.

Thanks for the responses.
