Not to worry. Those buildings will be constructed in phases done by Night Elves completeing dailies over the next 3 expansions.

it doesnt look purple/deep blue like classic night elf zones… just looks like night elf buildings on the dragon isles.

I do think it’s an odd choice letting non Alliance characters in, but it is what it is. I’m not mad. Just confused.

Who wants to tell Blizzard the last photo in the Full Article is an image of the Eye of Ysera, in the Emerald Dream, and is not part of the Amirdrassil zone in the Dragon Isles, let alone Bel’Ameth.

Hopefully this has come to an end as the night elves have been the focus since Legion. 4 expansions is really a lot. One gets the feeling that there are no other races apart from the night elves. The night elves deserve their new capital, but the undead still live in the abandoned Lordaeron, where nothing is done. Not to mention that they get more things than undead: For comparison, undead only get 1 heritage armor and night elves get 1 heritage armor with 2 colors, title and weapon. I’m just saying that no other race gets as much attention as the night elves, and I also understand that they have lost a lot. Draenei and Orcs can also sing a song about what they have lost.

Eh. I’ve processed my immense disappointment about it not being in kalimdor. I’ve moved on now. Being mad is exhausting. You are right, it is a gorgeous zone. There is no lack of love for the night elves on the devs’ part.
My only hope is that the various night elf hubs that the new city has portals to also get an update. Especially darkshore. They need to start showing massive narrative developments in the actual game. Not just in writing.

you know, i would be VERY glad if they hadn’t given us any attention. please, i wish they hadnt given attention to suramar and thrown a night elven city into the horde. or eldre’thalas, and thrown it to the crimson ring. or darnassus, and burned it, but also ruined an entire region and rendered it useless for any gameplay purposes, with a devastated landscape.
or given attention to the elves’ goddess, and made her quite literally content with letting them die to feed the maw, but such all knowing, all powerful entity seemingly oblivious to what afflicts the shadowlands.
please, i WISH they gave us no attention. i would take the place of the gnomes, and be forgotten to a century. then, we wouldnt have things such as dark wardens, kaldorei darkfallen, and a series of other lore flops.
