No I did not because I don’t want to teach Actiblizzard that their obvious manipulation by holding a carrot on a stick saying the items are “going away” will work on me… They are gonna bring the items back so why bother. Putting them on sale is fine, but being dirty like this is not. I won’t support it.

People making a fuss over this… :rofl:

This is what retailers do when stuff doesn’t sell

  • They cut the price
  • Bundle it with other stuff
  • Declare it’s limited time thing

Usually they do just one thing to get people to buy and these items instantly got all three. They must have been really poor sellers.

It was enough for me to buy.

I had half the stuff in the bundle already, and had been planning on buying the Grinning Reaver for my mag’har’s mount, and then the bundle came out and the remaining things in it, Reaver included, cost less than the Reaver would have normally. Hell yeah I bought it.

What is it with people hating on a marketing tool that has nothing to do with the bad gameplay development?

It was so cheap how could I pass on it? When they do bring them back let’s say one at a time (for a limited time) it will be back to full price.

It’s off my list forever.

My opinion? Can’t or doesn’t want to afford it, but rather than just accepting that as the best decision FOR THEM which is ok, they must somehow convince themselves it was the right decision via the masses agreeing with them.

I bought it only for the helms; I have everything else in the bundle. Was like $11 for all three.

That’s a great deal for you! It would have been $40 for everything for me. I already had the things I really wanted and the other mounts and things were just on the “if I can’t think of something I want for my birthday” list. If I could have ignored the helms and gotten the remaining for $25-30 though I would have done it no questions asked.

Either way though, it’s a good deal for people who want the things and I find it hilarious this is somehow a bad thing. How dare they save us money. :confused:

Lol first of all you have a grudge against me from getting demolished in another thread, and second I can clearly afford 18$ bundle as I already own most of it so the price was reduced even more to me.

I am beginning to see why you had so much trouble understanding Allied Races though… you clearly aren’t capable of reading the entirety of even a single sentence.

People are starting to get sick of Blizzard being shady and its starting to show all over the forums. Others are clinging desperately to their attachment to a company because it used to be good. And defending it because of that.

I still play the game where I enjoy it but I laugh at things like this that Blizzard does because it reminds me of the retail stores I used to work out that would pull shady stuff like this. But I still buy my paint pots from Michael’s arts and crafts.
