I completed the Secrets of Azeroth day 10 - A Proper Burial. It registered in my achievement “Whodunit”. I’m unable to pick up the following day’s quest, Kirin Tor Knowledge. There is no quest from Bobby Carlisle and, obviously, no quest item in my bag.

I don’t see a quest for this per wowhead, just a clue. Further digging shows a quest once you locate the tome mentioned in the clue.

Update: I figured it out. I didn’t do The Shifting Sands one. Weird that I was able to do the ones up to this point.

Any ideas why I might not be able to see A Proper Burial? I completed Forging is Key just fine.

I have been stuck at this exact spot for 2 days. Support told me to look at WoWHead. No banner in my bag, bank or other toons, so I am out of luck unless they decide to fix it. I was hoping the weekly reset would fix it but no such luck.

I just cleaned out my bags, and the quest became available after I hearted home from a rift…

I have no idea what happened. I logged on this morning and there was a game update. After it downloaded, I logged in and had the quest waiting for me. I guess it’s best not to look gift horses in the mouth.
