Honestly, this entire questline/achievement has been a pain. I have a 4 day ticket open. I cannot complete the quest, they told me to find a dragon and gave me location. No where to be found. Looks where suggested by players, no luck. Ive been unable to forge the key for so long i wont even get to complete the achievement due to the fact that its so buggy. But blizz continues to reply that there are “no reported bugs for that quest.” Coming here shows me how many others are having the same issues

I had the issue where the action button would not appear for me while trying to forge. What fixed it for me was since I was doing this on an alt, I had to complete the main storyline to the point where you can swear allegiance to either Wrathion or Sebelion. Only then did the quest function properly.

I had to do 2 skips. Talking to the bronze dragon at the top of the citadel, and then again at:
/way 42.56 66.61
I am experiencing the same problem. On a character who NEVER did Dragonflight and I have been able to do all the pervious Secrets before this. I have reset my Special Action Button. Even tried binding it to a key (to see if I could press it while not shown) nothing works.
