Hi folks,
Can anyone confirm how “catching up” on the Secrets of Azeroth works? I started yesterday after 3pm PST and was able to do the golden cup, the spear, and the hat. I thought I would be able to do one more quest to “catch up” to the latest quest available but it was not available and is still not available. So it seems like I will continue to be one day behind. That’s fine, but I just wanted to confirm that I’m not missing something? Is this working as intended?
Edit: Solved by Erixi. I totally didn’t notice that Fangli has a quest after you receive the hat.
You need to finish the hat part. Getting it isn’t the end.

It’s possible, if I’m correct it’s in order and you can do the next one that you didn’t do the other day and so on. I just wouldn’t suggest waiting the last week or the last day to do them all at once.
I do three at a time due to all the other things that I need to get done on my other characters. Most likely the last week I will have to do it day by day before the event ends.
Day 1 of the Whoodunnit achievement is parts 1 and 2. So Day 2 is part 3, Day 3 is part 4, etc.
so i am up to day 4 the torch but obviously its day 5 - it doesn’t let me do 2 on the same day so if i continue one a day from a day behind will i have time to do them all to get the mount before it completes ?

You CAN participate in the event and earn rewards even after the event is completed - The dates are ONLY for when clues first appear

One of my toons did the intro quest and I think one other a few days ago, but no further quests show up and I’ve checked every day. I thought maybe there was a glitch, so I did the intro quest with another toon (the chalice) but no other quests show up for that one either.
I started it with another toon and did that chain with a friend (I think that was the first toon to take the quest) and got the thinking cap and Sunday night they did a new one.
But today nothing for the other toons and I would have thought reset would have at least shown something for my toons.
What am I missing? It’s really disheartening.

Completing the quests are account bound. If you finished it on one character, its finished for the whole account.

Just in case you didn’t go on after getting the cap. That’s not the end when you get the cap. You have to use the toy and the quest keeps going from the goblin lady you get it from.

I’m going to try to ask this without spoiling. After you received the hat, did you complete any further quests using the hat? If not, that’s what you’re missing
ok so i have done the first 3 - i am up to torch of pyrreth - not been on in over 24 hours but the inn keeper doesnt have the next one for me - am i doing anything wrong ?
Have you used the hat toy? I think the quests only show up when you are wearing it.
the tricked out thinking cap ? yer i have it on in the inn
but tithris doesnt have anything for me
Here’s a list of everything out atm…
You should have the top 4 with Torch at number 5 which you should be on and A Chilling Ascent to follow.
So if you are up to the Torch part you’re meant to talk to Tithris in the Roasted Ram Inn to start that.

Maybe you can only solve one thing each day no matter when you start the event?
If so that’s pretty crappy.

and on my list the top 4 have been done
