So I started doing this a week ago, I’ve got two fish left to get. One is the Displaced Scrapfin, which I’m just waiting for another day of Chromie in Mechagon for, and the other is the Golden Sunsoaker.
I’m informed that the Golden Sunsoaker and the Elusive Moonfish are Day/Night fish, the Moonfish I’ve gotten a lot of. I’m learning its not as cut and dry as ‘day and night’ because despite my server having the realm time align with my region (Australia, Sydney), the day/night cycle ingame does not. I haven’t seen daytime ingame since realms started merging.
My main farming times were around 3pm to 1am, roughly, never really consistent and a bit on and off, but in that area. Pretty much only got the Elusive Moonfish. So naturally I assume I need to get on earlier. So here I am today on a day off, started at 9:30am. First time in ages seeing the game lit up so much with daylight, its jarring. So I start the fish hunt.
11:30am(ish), I get the Elusive Moonfish…
So yeah, is this not a 12-hour split? Or is it bugged? Or am I misinformed and its actually zone dependent? Unlucky drop chance I can live with, but if I’m misinformed on its timeframe or zone or whatever, that’s an annoying amount of time wasted.
