Second Monitor horrible fps

Hi everyone, I’m running wow on 2 accounts on my two different monitor, and whenever I am actively clicked on one screen, the second ones fps drop to 1-2.

it happens even when i’m just playing wow on one monitor and while i type this my main monitor with wow open the game has 1-2 fps. While playing i have perfectly normal 100-120 FPS, but when i don’t have it clicked, i tank.

thank you in advance!

Check your video settings in game under Advanced. Where is the slider for Background FPS at? If it’s at the lowest setting, consider raising it to 100 or so. Depending on your video card and monitor technology, you may have to tweak it a bit.

This seems odd. I’ve been boxing since launch on multiple systems, multiple builds, and multiple operating systems and have never encountered this. If you’re using isboxer that can run them at different framerates.

I’ll ask my husband. He’s the one who sets my stuffs up. I’m sure we’ve never did anything special.

I have it set at 200 on both. hm
