ok doing the argus quest line and trying to get the achievement “You are Now Prepared” to unlock the allied races. I cannot for the life of me get Illidan to offer me the quest to start “The War of Light and Shadow” for the second part of the achievement. I have done every other quest on the Argus that i can, killed every world boss, done all the side quests i can find, and done half a dozen of the world quests but still nothing. Can this not be done while in a timewalking campaign?
please help me, i’m starting to get really frustrated. It’s almost like they do not want returning players to get half of these quests.
The thread you made earlier that you deleted was titled “you can’t do this quest when timewalking”. Is that an actual message you are getting when trying to do this? If not, perhaps this thread could help?

As mentioned in the thread Zipster linked, make sure you’ve done “Where They Least Expect It.” That one may be a problem in timewalking as it’s going to be very challenging to solo at level, and finding a group in timewalking could be difficult.
If the next quest you need is on the ship, make sure you move the ship around to be over the different zones. Some quests only show up when the Vindicaar is over a specific zone.
Another common sticking point for the chain is “A Non-Prophet Organization.” Sometimes Turalyon doesn’t phase properly and doesn’t offer the quest. You can try relogging at the Conservatory of the Arcane beacon site, or take the beacon to a different zone and back may help re-phase him.
