that doesn’t imply you can buy “anything you want” it just means once prices drop in a week or two you will have more than enough gold for mount and to craft your epics. There is tons of gold out there if you play the game.

The best source of gold right now is doing the raid and selling materials to swipers via the AH. It’s basically just a glorified form of GDKP - raiders raid and get paid gold so that swipers can get epic(s).
omg they get one decent item on a 10 min CD… BASICALLY A GDKP!

They are testing how the playerbase reacts to Blizzard taking control of Gold in Classic/Era atmospheres as they consider revenue-bolstering value-added services in environments that don’t currently have them. E.g. tokens in SoD, paid transfers, etc.

I fully support tokens in season content. It’s a limited time game mode. No life grinding gold in a limited run game is just bad. Would rather spend that time doing the fun stuff in game and seasonal content.
