[Season of Discovery] Shadowy Assassin Quest

I just spent 20 hours sitting in Southshore waiting for Shadowy Assassins to spawn to get the Assassins’s Contract. Nothing.

It seems that the event spawning the assassins is bugged.

I still don’t know what spawns them (completing a quest like Noble death or server timed) but it seems to not spawn at all. People are questing and many people are turning quests to Magistrate Maleb. Southshore was busy with people going in and out all day and night, yet nothing spawned.

The conditions for this event to activate have always been poorly documented or not even understood at all. Ask around and see if anyone else has seen it on SoD at all.

Also, I’m not sure, but I think it can’t start if Assassins from previous occurrence are still alive. They’re stealthed and like to hide in spots never covered by the guards.

Back in SoM, it was bugged as well and they never fixed it.
