Played it today at blizzcon at the demo, its a lot of fun. Crusader strike, divine storm at low levels. Mana is so much better to. Probably gonna be lots more balance pass overs but man its looking really fun.
I’d love to try the protection paladin abilities. Having a taunt and aoe Seal of the Martyr will be nice.
My question is, does it just feel like playing a Pre Expansion Patch? Where you’re level X but have new/updated moves from the “next expansion.”
From what I saw, I assume it’s like playing pre-wotlk Ret at level 25, and idk how interesting that is. =/
Im not quite sure. It did still feel very level 25. I did still have mana issues towards the end of some of the bosses. They each took 3-4 mins each maybe longer. I was out of mana and only able to use crusader strike at like 20 percent. Still have to blessing people. It was like a weird mismatch of classic/wrath ret only cause you can use crusader strike and divine storm.
I think low level raids is really fun and a cool idea though.
So can u be specd deep prot and have crusader strike and divine storm?
It appears so. There are some talents designed exclusively for tanking, and so far, we can only have one at a time for each slot.
The talent trees were unchanged. The only differences were the rune system which is included ontop of that.
