1 day in and hunters get nerfed to the ground. Now I’m not mad that I have been unable to quest with my hunter on the one PvE server.

FOTM babies mad yet again
Gotta love the communication blizzard gave us with this change. Now that we are forced into aspect of the lion we go oom without master marks man. Most of our abilities including serpent sting don’t scale. Therefore chim shot will scale like crap. Its almost as much mana to use as aimed shot doing much less damage. GG blizzard thank you for nerfing chim shot for no reason and helping us with mana

Amazing how people are complaining about this especially when Hunters are still God tier
Try playing a Warrior and then tell me Hunters are bad. Warrior is a literal joke atm with garbo runes

I was solo farming 10 level 17-18 mobs as lvl 16 mage with just that 1 healing rune and arcane explosion/living bomb. Was fun while it lasted.
did the Altar buff get removed?
did that buff even work ?
agreed, mage healing needs some serious attention its way too feast or famine. either everyone is invincible or your oom and everyone is going to die, these events are usually about 15 seconds apart. and then you drink for 45 seconds and do it again

I understand tuning- but changing the way the rune works is just weird.
already havent logged in since I heard- losing motivation to roll other classes if theyre just going to gut everything
a lil over 24hrs and we’re already getting the bat…on a friday, thats…insane.
its almost like this was a hotfix against hunters and everyone must funnel in to bm. yay! can we please stop always trying to make bm the best? youre doing it on retail youre doing it here. just stop and let ppl have fun. 80% nerf is way too much.

it’s not a FOTM complaint us hunters are having, it’s right now our class plays the same or worse than the normal servers. ES needed a nerf, but our other abilities didn’t need a nerf and many of them needed to be changed/buffed. The current hunter playstyle is pretty awful compared to other classes, and this gut reaction nerf isnt encouraging.

We love to play a class that feels the same as classic era. We have had chim shot added that will just oom us and not scale from serpent sting. Great gameplay. Explosive shot was fun to play not because of the damage but the fact even if we ran aspect of the lion we woulden’t go oom after 20 seconds

Go back to your own class. Hunters were not meant to be melee in Classic and trying to force melee play into classic Hunters to appease Warrior and Rogue mains is ruinous to the class.

Good to know the message of prioritizing fun and making all characters feel op in a sense was a lie. Anyway, I’ll still enjoy hunter, just a stupid change in my opinion. Maybe since I am level 10 I haven’t seen just how crazy the rune was, but even if that’s the case, better start seeing nerfs to other classes that are too efficient.
The irony of a paladin saying this.

there is no reason for arcane shot to be tied to explosive shots cool down now so that needs to be changed. it’s damage is also pitiful that needs to be adjusted by at least two fold.
You can push a change like that that quickly on a Friday night then this needs to be addressed immediately

Explosive Shot is trash now.
Took my leveling slow and just got it post-nerf. Not even worth swapping it’s a dps loss leveling. Back to Chimera, which was also nerfed.
Only level 9 on my hunter but it’s back to feeling basically like normal era dmg, which kinda defeats the purpose. Really unfortunate. I’ll keep leveling for now but those nerfs were way heavy handed.
meanwhile i watch a level 6 warlock 2 shot a level 9 mob
