Disappointing, seems as though we’re becoming an auto shot bot with beast mastery as our only decent option, hoping they atleast roll back the chimera shot nerf or heavily buff serpent sting.

Why coulden’t they just tune down explosive shot? Why change it. Explosive shot is such a fun ability on single target. Just tryed chim shot in dungeons and it feels awful. Uses much to much mana and the 40% nerf was much to high. Re rolling insta I don’t want to play BM

I think most people misunderstand the hunters in this post , I dont feel any l;ess powerful in the current state thats not the point , when you fundamentally change the nature of an ability to change the nature of how the class feels to play both visually and the fantasy of it.
Revert it plz and nerf ES by 75% and reduce the nerf to Vhimera , your breaking the best part of SoD hunter

Blizz, i completely agree explosive shot needed a nerf. but it’s now nerfed into the ground. it literally is doing 1/2 my auto shot dmg or less at level 6. it didn’t need an aoe component. it just needed a less heavy handed damage nerf.

The last line reads “Only one aspect can be active at a time.” So are you sure that Aspect of the Lion does not indeed work like the other aspects?

With no PTR they really had no idea how all this was going to work. Small batch testing is always worse then seeing how thousands of sweaty players will play.
Yea nerf it but not as an unannounced hotfix on a friday night. JFC so damn hard to get through to people that it doesn’t matter whether or not it was warranted when they hotfixed it in without saying anything beforehand. Announce the nerf first and let people stew a few days ffs.

I hope this, atleast, sets the precedent of nerfing other classes if they are out of line at other level brackets.
I just hope when levels are raised and hunter’s aren’t performing because of poor scaling, they are instantly buffed within 24 hours. I won’t hold my breath though.
