I’ve played classic/vanilla for many years, got R14 did a ton or raiding.
Hunters are crap at 60, and the runes they added are are bandaid fixes for a class that is trash after MC
So which heavy-handed dev got rolled in pvp and nerfed hunters out of spite?

if you’re going to nerf Explosive shot you need to take it off the same CD of aimed shot

Should have been nerfed and not made an aoe ability and allowed us to use aimed shot witrh its completely out of touch
Sure a nerf was needed, but 80% with sloppy aoe tag is such a poor kneejerk reaction… I’ll come back tot he game at later time, this was very poorly handled.

A nerf was warranted. This is excessive. ES is one of the only new fun abilities Hunters got in SoD, and it shares a CD with Hunter baseline abilities.
Imagine if Penance / Haunt / Victory Rush were just flat-out turned into unviable abilities. You’d probably be asking “well, why aren’t I just playing Era?” This is the same boat for Hunters now.
Just because they were overperforming in BFD doesn’t make it fun to ruin the levelling experience.

Logged into my hunter, killed 3 mobs like normal, pulled the 4th and couldn’t kill it.
Looked and noticed the ability got changed mid-combat.
Logged off and went to make a new chartacter.

Yes we all completely understand that Explosive shot was doing too much damage. But an 80% nerf? F no. Also Chim shot did not need a nerf at all. It was already kinda weak. Isnt this special season just supposed to be for fun anyway? What the hell are we playing this for? Just regular vanilla hunters now? all the runes are boring and stuff that retail has for the most part… cmon…

Make Lone wolf useful please, remove the deadzone if we use lone wolf or something like that. pet does like tons of damage on my MM its just not worth taking Lone wolf for 15% damage.
Also nobody wanted AOE explosive shot. WOTLK explosive shot was loved

Nerfing runes at 25. Did you not test any of the runes before release?
Surely if you did test you would of seen explosive shots amount of damage.
