Does anybody know how to macro the Sunfire spell so it functions correctly in bear form and uses rage?

This version of the ability is the one that costs rage, and it replaces Moonfire in the Balance tab of the spellbook when you’re in bear form. However, when using /cast Sunfire in a macro while in bear form, it uses the version of Sunfire that costs mana (the one from the Runes tab of the spellbook), thereby pulling you out of bear form. Using /cast Sunfire (Bear) does not do anything because it doesn’t exist.

Any suggestions are welcome!

Go into bear form, open the macro edit screen, shift-click the spell like you’re trying to link it in chat. Should input the correct name.

Thanks! Seems like a weird interaction, but at least someone found a way to make it work.

Edit: Shift-clicking the spell in the spellbook to add it to the macro adds Sunfire which casts the mana version of the spell. Typing in Moonfire(Rank 1) uses the rage version of the Sunfire spell, so that will work.

probably really late to the game here but i have found that if you shift into bear form, go to your rune tab, the sunfire spell there will have changed into the bear form one, drag that to your spellbar and you should be good to go
