Do half the people that complain about hunter nerfs even play hunter? I was already above bm hunters in PVE and this is an additional buff to MM.

Where? They didn’t buff base abilities

What does buffing there main abilitys even mean? They didn’t show numbers…

How it should be. BM hunters should NEVER be the best dps specc. It’s a solo pve spec. Not a pumper spec.

MM should be miles above BM for dmg. Because then the actual player is the one doing an ability rotation and not an NPC AI doing everything while the player is afk.

This is not a Priest nerf it is an evisceration! 20% really?

You get Penance at level 2 i think. The first time i pressed the button and it basically full healed for almost no mana on a 10 sec cd I knew it was broken. They give HPal and RestoSham terrible healing runes. Who could have guessed Priests are out performing? Glad it took 1.5 months to realize

BM has not been the best spec for a while now.

Nice more Chimera Shot damage! Sadly it’s only 15% but still a good change overall imo. I do think it needs another 15% or so, I still don’t see it being about the same as Beast Mastery and it honestly should be a little better as it’s a button to press.

Hunter runes need to be iterated on, most of them are just useless as Serpent Sting needs to scale with AP for them to deal any damage. Kill Command should be an ability like in retail as it’s trash, or lower its cooldown. Snipering training needs to work with auto shots, and maybe increase range or attack speed or something else. Serpent Spread should be replaced as without Serpent Sting dealing damage it becomes useless. Carve should have been in a different rune slot.

Yeah but in PvP they are just absurdly broken. So broken that the meta is to just “eyes of the beast” and run around with the flying noodle and nuke people.

It had to be nerfed for obvious reason. Any hunter saying this is unfair just wants to remain brokenly OP and are gaslighting

Bit of a semantics trip here.

If by “main spells” they mean stuff the Hunter actually casts like: Chimera Shot, Explosive Shot, Carve, Kill Command, and Flanking Strike… These are still runes, and Blizzard is compensating exactly as they said. May there need to be more tuning? Who knows.

If by “main spells” people think Blizzard is going to be adjusting things like… Serpent’s Sting, Arcane Shot, Multi-Shot… There’s no precedent for that yet for any class and I wouldn’t hold my breath.

So wouldn’t the correct solution have been to nerf EotB? Also that is a completely different argument from what I responded to.

No the correct sollution is to nerf pet health and pet dmg. Which is what they are doing and why everyone is popping champagne tonight.

When you’re getting one tapped by MM Hunter’s in later phases with an epic weapon and Lone Wolf before you can even hit an ability you’ll be saying that “Pet’s should always be part of a Hunter’s damage. Without the damage split between a pet and the hunter they are too strong on their own!”

Because WSG is what people consider the meta. Everything has a 25% reduction except pets and healing. Pretty obvious how that is going to go

There is nothing semantic about saying “main spells” vs. runes. You would not compensate a BM hunter using a nerfed BM rune by buffing other runes that they cannot use.

What about Nerf Warriors and rogues? Pve still same as vanila and 2019 classic …
