No thanks I used to be a paladin main and thought I was good because I could beat everyone with them having to kill me 3-4 times in a fight. (I pretty much always won)
I like having to time things and be smart with a Shaman.
I guess the arcane surge is a defensive cd because it can 100-0 someone then they cant do damage to you right?
Cc can be used defensively, doesnt mean it is a defensive cd. Defensive CDs work on reducing damage regardless of if a target is immune to cc.
I can’t believe people are arguing between “defensive CD” and “CC”.
CCs aren’t what we call “defensive cooldown”, they are just CCs, learn how to use MMORPG/WoW terms.

Your disingenuous twisting could be reduced to Autoattacks are a defensive CD… and they’re not. Anyone reasonable and not trying squirm their way around being wrong can see that “death of the opponent” is not a defensive CD.

You not liking that CC is also a defensive CD doesn’t make it not true.
There’s a reason people use stuns, blinds, repentance, etc… to allow themselves to heal/bandage mid fight.

Pally is cracked and has always been a dev favorite and an alliance player bias blindspot.
IDC about their raid DPS logs, they have enough utility to beat the game or multiple PVP opponents, and their dmg is still very much a threat.

Shamans and paladins both require nerfs. Ret paladins have multiple CDs that make them and their Teammates unkillable. The are a menace in pvp for horde side.
why do shamans get to be tanks and also chain lava burst for 100% life?
