I was not going to replay classic again but I do have to admit - SoD (and all the various runes, coins, buffs, etc) is pretty fun.

why are shamans being buffed though?

Doesn’t matter. I’m not sure why your types hinge so much validity on games. No one is ‘scared’. It’s discussing a poorly implemented solution. Try going outside and having a conversation sometime.

How are you guys not going to acknowledge that shamans weapon embues dont work on almost every weapon in the game visually, its been too long for this to still be a bug please fix this!!!

Right! And there are a good 6-7 replies in this thread calling me a snowflake when I was dead on with the fixes to the BFD bosses that needed to happen.

What do you want nerfed about it?

In PvE it’s the worst melee spec.
Pretty good in PvP but so are the other melee specs?

You’re welcome to not like it but I think this is one of the better decisions that wow has made in the interest of innovation.

I also think “balanced and ideal gamestate” is nice but not the ultimate goalpost for SoD. This is definitely a test bed for classic plus style content, and in that regard its a much better approach to release this in smaller batches, and fine tune it based off feedback.

They’ve got us at 25 specifically because they’re not certain what changes are too strong, too weak, or just downright unfun for players.

Blizzard will never fix bugs that hurt hunter only bugs that makes them strong or nerf hunters because of the bug and fix the bug and not revert the nerf.

what about his frost/nature/fire resistance? are they already also 25?

I knew there was something buggy with hunter attacks not being countered by evasion.
Glad to see that is getting addressed. I am very glad the damage on the pets is being tuned down.

For what it’s worth – I don’t think nerfing pets ability to tank should be a thing. If anything I think they should buff some of the tanks at level 25 instead.

Tanking on a low level Prot warrior with no hit rating is one of the most miserable experiences this game has to offer – Especially with a pug that thinks they’re playing Retail. Having no rage, missing your attacks, spamming taunt on CD, Rend/Devastate not being able to generate enough threat or rage to keep aggro, having to swap to battle stance to thunderclap and losing most of your rage in the process. It’s abysmal. And you’re still squishy.

A bunch of the caster changes are going to be a nightmare in PvP. Nearly 200% starsurge and cutting the manacost by a huge amount is ridiculous. 100-200% damage increases on some DoTs is insane for Priests.

Glad to see rapid changes coming out – though I don’t agree with some of them.

It looks like those are base, which is why fire did okay against him. (Frost just sucks) The problem is that it’s an extremely unfriendly caster fight. Lots of movement, “controlled” phase change, and even during the DPS race you have to move.

35% burn is also kind of hardcore, most casters will be OOM fast with this unless that 35% is short, and I mean like 15-30 seconds.

Those are intended and proper mechanics. Him bouncing arcane and most of what a Warlock will throw at him compounded the nasty caster fight in general.

most people on hunter really, really suck. I 2v1 them on my priest all the time.

That’s true, they are generally awful players. But that doesn’t really justify OPness.
