No hunter nerfs this week? There is still much more balancing to be done to combat hunter abuse. For example, it doesn’t seem very fair to me that hunters could simply go out and train a new pet after the scorpid nerf, or spend gold (toxic display of wealth privilege) respec to MM after BM was nerfed.
Hunters are visibly exploiting game mechanics to get an unfair advantage over more skilled players like priests and warriors, and I am curious what blizzard will do to make the game more fair for us.
There is counter play to ret but there is no counter play from a druid sitting 30 yards away abusing sunfire with a 20% movement in cat form using energy as a resource to where its only a matter of time before you go oom or die and you cant get to the druid or away from the druid.

First time playing classic wow? There is counter-play to ALL classes in classic wow. Mages can poly forever, what counters poly? Druid. Pallys can bubble and freedom and later can cleanse magic and get others out of sheep and themselves out of ice if freedom is down. Classic has always been like chess. Retail is terrible because every class gets everything. No class identity. Deal with it. Ret stomps most classes SO hard.

I dont know about you but when i think of a druid in cat form what comes to mind is spamming one 30 yard ability using energy as a resource, the absolute pinnacle of what a druid in cat form is suppose to be.
I hear that complaint but it wasn’t that bad of an issue, you already have blade dance active and are ready for another application, so you could blow energy on more combo points or something else without any major loss or wait a tick for blade dance to drop. You can overlap it with a higher combo point blade dance.
I’m just worried they are taking the finesse out of rogue tanks and making them more like standard spammy bucket head tanks. What’s the point of a rogue tanking class if you’re going to take the rogue factors of combo point/cool down management away?
I understand people are having trouble wrapping their heads around main gauche and riposte and using dps numbers to support saber slash as the end all be all but it is not as effective as riposte supported by main gauche and sinister strike tanking. Throw in main gauche or evasion as needed to cover the gap if blade dance is going to lapse, Tease only works to secure a parry for riposte if you look at it.
From my perspective people are replacing sinister strike with saber slash entirely and expecting it to do all the heavy lifting. Riposte is the corner stone of rogue tanking. Costs 10 energy 150% weapon damage and a disarm on a 6 second cool down activated by parry? and you’re taking 100% weapon damage + a bleed instead of an additional 10% parry from main gauche? I see where the issue is. Even sinister strike is 100% + 15 weapon damage but some people aren’t using it at all because “Runes r op!!1!”
Rogue tanks already have drastically increased threat generation, we’re ability based tanks not damage based tanks, Sorry if people thought rogue tanks meant rogue damage and tanking but you sacrifice some of one role for the other.
Yeah they’re supposed to be kiteable, that’s the design of the class.
After all your antics crying about it and trying to defend the buggy shield they sided with people who actually know what they’re talking about. You must feel dumb. You should.
