This is harder than folks are making it out to be. One across the board change is much simpler than trying to create a duplicate set of effects on a per-spell basis.
It’s also far harder for players to track once you go that route.
Chaos Bolt takes 2.5 seconds to cast. Only time I get a chaos bolt off is if someone is unsuspecting.

They also said that they were adding new rewards to honored supply and adjusting hunter base power after the last set of nerfs and none of that happened. At this point I will only believe it when I see it.

For as hard hitting as CB is (I’ve seen a 2400 crit), it’s not OP. Yes it can 1 shot but it takes setup and planning to pull off. If you hit that crit, you deserve to kill them.
Well theres multiple bugs affecting starsurge. 30% extra crit and the SP scaling were the big offenders.
Congrats you put boomkin back to unplayable in pvp and you already made them unwanted in pvp.
No solutions for how poor we scale or perform, just nerfts to keep us c tier.

Probably true. The dark knight stuff is fun, but FedExing all over the world isn’t. Stromguard Keep is horrid. You’re just sitting there waiting to tag mobs vs. everyone else. That has to go. You can’t have that unless you have an insane level of layering.

1 step forward 10 steps back with wow devs. It has always been like this. Terrible decisions day in and day out. People have been saying for a long time change spells that are an issue in pvp to affect players only. Nope nerf it all. Look at past nerfs for all ph1. Makes very little sense. The devs are trolls nothing more. I hoped SoD would bring new light to things but doesn’t look that way.

I mean they are nerfing starsurge early and hard. I think they do read them.
They also said they were playing the game all weekend.
Maybe they noticed that Starsurge was just a ‘bit’ too overtuned?

there are 9 other abilities hitting as hard or harder than starsurge, some with lower cooldowns and instant.

They said the actual Balance Patch is coming next week.
They just felt Starsurge was bad enough it needed an immediate hotfix.

I don’t think anyone is arguing that it wasnt overtuned. but this nerf is over the top and affects pve heavily
