Now you’re just being circular. Again, if you apply externals to Starsurge, yes, you can hit those 1600 crits, absolutely. Just give a 50% pvp nerf and it’s literally problem solved but no, lets just make the skill functionally useless.

Starsurge’s nerfs indicate it was very overtuned.

It’s a spammable instant that literally trucks people. Druids were completely broken in all forms of PvP due to Starsurge…do not even act like this wasn’t the case lol. There was ZERO counterplay to starsurge spam.

No, it indicates that blizz is halfass, full gas with their nerfs.

My dude, it incorrectly had a 1.0 coefficient. For reference, Fire Blast is 0.429.

Please please please please please take shadowstep off of the GCD. Make it cost 20 energy if you want to but please just give us the true Iconic ability Rogues all know and love. Please Blizzard, this was a real blow for me gamewise.

I know it might seem insignificant, but it isn’t to me, and from what I’ve seen from others, many rogues feel the same. I want to recover the excitement I had for phase 2 a week ago. Please Blizzard. Please SoD devs.

So fix the coefficient or nerf by 30%. Don’t do both at once

you can kill someone in 6 seconds total dude. 2 casts, 6 seconds…you don’t need to cast it, it’s 36yrd range and you just keep HoTs on yourself for the tickling damage incase someone DoTs you…it’s broken. Get over it lol.

The travel ones don’t bug me since that’s Classic but I think something needs to be changed for the ones that require another player like the Frozen Makrura. There’s just not enough players right now leveling in the starter areas.

Maybe they’ll rebuff, but you can’t expect folks to take your word over the company who tracks the metrics across servers.

It will likely see more adjustments. The balance aspect is delicate and actually one of the hardest things they’re trying to pull off while adding new mechanics and class roles. If you wanna complain, I’d save it for things like the lackluster PvP events that have been implemented atrociously for both phases.

I don’t pvp so that portion of the argument is moot to me. I don’t personally care what they do in pvp. And you’re right, balance is delicate. So maybe they should try being delicate with it for once instead of tactically nuking it.

If you’re going to force using more 3 second starfires, can you make the Eclipse rune actually work? The 70% chance to avoid pushback doesn’t work whatsoever. And isn’t mentioned in the post at all.

So basically you reduce the Starsurge base damage by 30 percent… ok I get that. But then you also put it back to 42.9 % of spellpower as damage now. Was it not gaining before or less then 42.9% or gaining more then 42.9%? Cuz if it is the latter then that is a huge nerf.

It’s like a 60% nerf to it’s overall damage.

i have literally said this for months, change how moves interact with other players ONLY. dont change the move.

we know this is possible considering they added resil to wsg in p1
