With Blizzard shuttering the most iconic Seasonal server to date, and abandoning the WoW Classic player base, we are now entering the Season of Darkness.

I will join the resistance in SOD era, in the wall and protect the realm of men and do what ever i can and see the sun again in classic plus when the storm is over. may the force be with us. Dark and cold time in coming for sure.

I’ll be continuing my SoD journey into the void. No MoP for me even with a free boost. I’ll be playing TBC arenas when they pop but still mostly playing SoD.

We have no plans to shut down the SoD realms, and we hope to see the game mode continue to operate similar to WoW Classic Era for many months (if not years) to come. We’ve all grown attached to our characters just like you have, and we’re happy to continue to adventure with you for as long as you’d like.

Yes but like others have said, it’s already such a bummer to see so many people say they are quitting. At this point they should just rebrand SoD from discovery to darkness. I’ll be cancelling my sub the day I can’t play SoD. It may not mean much, but it sends a message. May we persevere.

I think I’d play more SoD if they didn’t ruin the game by making Ashbringer way too OP. We went from a fairly balanced game right back to Fury warriors being the most dominant by a mile. They didn’t even bother to try to fix it after the fact. Ashbringer needed to be nerfed by at least half.

That’s fair but almost all of them will be gone to mop just sneak and steal their number 1 spot while they not here it will be on them if they bad and quit. It will get fixe by itself or maybe get your own Ashbringer since i will be less competitive scene they will be not missed. Have faith in the force ! ERA SOD HYPE until classic plus. I have a strange feeling it will come sooner that we think. Everything will change when 25% damage buff will be up. They actual dps will be outdated by miles with our bonus set and full bis.
I don’t think people believe they are going to shut the servers down on us instantly. I think the concern is that with nothing new to do or to accomplish, the beginning of the end has arrived. Servers will inevitably become less and less populated.

in game on CS chat all you see is SOD lives on,
people are sheep that follow the mob, takes 1 sheep to start walking and the the rest follow.
People need to think for them self and play the game they want to play.
Bold of you to assume that you will be able to find groups once the servers start dying.
