A 5 month season seems fine to me. Potentially 4months and change if they bump the release date of DF up. I’ll have glad in 2-3 weeks and nothing to do for the remainder of the season anyways as it’s all explored territory with little changes. See you in DF, hopefully sooner rather than later.

They can’t do that can they? Don’t some countries have laws that prevent Blizz from changing the release date once it is announced or am I thinking of something else?
How much longer would you require to learn a few new dungeons? You are looking at a minimum of 3 1/2 - 4 months before we have pre- patch. I didn’t get to play as much as I would have liked to since the patch started but I’ll probably start in a couple weeks to knock off KSM and then decide if I’ll aim for some portals.

My plaguefall path changed 2 months before the end of S3 pretty dramatically. So that’s 2 years in. But we were all in the same boat for the SL dungeons. Now some people have done these keys before and some not. I’m guessing right about when the season is ending is when I’ll be hitting my stride in these dungeons. I’ll get an insta-invite to Kara or something but then I don’t know what I’m doing so I’ll just get flamed and ruin someone’s key. Is it worth all the flames and learning to have maybe 1 month of being able to play these dungeons?
From my understanding they posted the release date as “On or Before!” In the official announcement so yes as of right now it could be released earlier.
But not later correct?
Maybe they should put weekly lockouts on how much PvP people can do, then.

No if this was the beginning of DF for example, I got alts to lvl and play through, on top of my goals for my main, dragon racing to do, solo queue ladder to climb, etc. atm there’s just nothing to do besides obtain my goals on my main which is just glad. The alts haven’t fundamentally changed and solo queue isn’t rated yet so nothing new there, I’ve got one of every class at 60, so nothing to lvl, and there’s no activities really outside wows 3 main pillars, of which I only care for one. MOPs last season was something like a year long? I played the entire time. This seasons just meh.

Based on the wording I’d assume not later, but game delays are a different beast. However why announce “On or before” if you think it might delay.
My comment is basically just bring me dragonflight already!
Legion had short pvp seasons and is regarded as a good pvp expansion. I believe they were 3-4months each. Shorter than this season will be.
It had 7 seasons total for pvp.
Based on the average rating I achieve I’m something like the 0.01% of pvpers. Lockouts on how much pvp can be done a week would harm 99.99% of the pvp player base.

Boredom and I have friends that want to play with me. Other than that, nothing. If it weren’t for these things, I would’ve unsubbed a few days ago. Because shortly here, I won’t have a lot of time on my hands to play WOW.
The point is to waste time obviously. I’m glad last season is over just because the destro lock and survival hunter dominance was making me sick. Happy to see those nerfs even though there weren’t enough changes overall
Just after the mount, KSH and fated achievements, once i get those I imagine I’ll regress from the game till DF comes out.
Sylvanus bow and slime mount. Once I have those it’s back to classic until DF.
There is no point to the season.
