Season 4 socket item doesn't actually work on all season 4 items

I took the season 4 socket item, and it is unable to add a socket to the karazhan belt cord of the penitent. It simply returns the error message “this item cannot be modified”

I’m getting the same thing with the mail belt “Short Jibbet Waistguard” and the ring “Terestian’s Signet Ring” both from kara. gotta love it

Yeah just got a response to my ticket. “Cant do anything make a bug report”

I had the same issue, vault was bad so I took the sockets instead. I got KT bracers and was unable to socket them just like it would have functioned when they were still a domination socket piece. If I recall correctly they stated this would not be an issue yet here we are.

I have the same issue, these don’t work on most of my season 4 items

Just submitted one myself:

Cannot use item (Fated Matter Fractalizer) to socket season 4 item (Seal of Darkshire Nobility). Error message appears stating “This item cannot be modified.”

Seal of darkshire nobility still bugged, message appears “this item can be modified” can’t use coins to add a socket

Just opened my vault today and experiencing this same issue. I cannot socket my ilvl 298 tier helm as a DK. Visage of the first Eidolon. Same as others reported, “This item cannot be modified”. I do not remember what the base item that was catalyzed is.

Reporting in that I can’t socket my Fated Heroic Regal Signet of Sire Denathrius either. Item cannot be modified.

Same here, cannot use on my helm Visage of Brutish Iron “item cannot be modified”

Same can’t add a socket to 311 Diadem of Imperious Desire. :cry:

I can’t socket my tier helm as of DF prepatch. First ticket auto closed with no action. (Just a survey sent to me). I’ll try one more time.

Cannot add a socket to my DK’s Vambracers of Verification (Bracers from Tazavesh).
Keep getting “Item cannot be Modified” even though its a Season 4 item.
