Season 4 PvP Update: Removing the Conquest Cap and Spoils of War

Really nice to see the increase in communication lately. A very welcome change!

I rarely post on forums it is not about wanting to complain, I just do not want to give blizzard a pat on the back that should have just not been implemented in the start?

That’s fine, you don’t have to. I will. Thanks Blizz. Better late than never.

That’s kind of the point though. Removing the cap allows PVPers to play as much as they want and still get a reward.

Time to R-B-G

I’m so confused… The game has had a conquest cap since 2004. Who are all these kids crying about not being able to get gear when last season I came back for the last week and within 2 days had full honor gear n with said gear easily got 1600. People complain to much and it’s actually upsetting to remove the cap because then there is no decision to be made on what pieces to buy anymore lmao good job blizz making the game even easier then it already is.

But your really low rated. You don’t have skills so your opinion isn’t as weighted as others.

you’re*

get it right!

Yes, for unranked players. It’s not too late to hop in and push 1400-1600 for most of the upgrades.

how does that help me from getting a 22k hp healer on my team?

cuz it happens to me every single day many times in random bgs

You wish, buddy. I’m crashing this match with no survivors.

Thank you very much for removing the conquest cap. People don’t like to be throttled on power increases such as gear in a competitive scene. With a cap and heavily relying on vault rng for gear, this can create unfair advantages / disadvantages depending on the choices of gear you received. With the removal of conquest cap, we’re moving closer to equality among players.

The addition of Spoils of War buff and Solo Shuffle Brawl item level increase is also much warranted and appreciated.

well then this is really really bad news for casual homies

RIP

some homies can only play like a few hours a few times a week.

others play 10 hours a day. wonder which one of these peoples gonna have a 30 ilvl gear advantage

I mean it has the advantage of being able to keep things relaxed, which appeals to most people I’d imagine. Hour or two a week and you’ll be bis as quickly as somebody who queues 6 hours a day.

This is where the Spoils of War buff comes in so it doesn’t take long to gear. Gearing to full won’t seem like an insurmountable problem to those that don’t play much if it can be done within a few hours. Just have to find the right balance on speed of gear acquisition to appeal to all players.

Where are the lock nerfs? This is going to cause a surge of lock rerolls and the season is going to be a joke.

Have you not played since the Demo buff last season?

Those changes actually make the life of randon/epic players and casuals even worst…

A full conquest set means nothing facing a 6/9+ and “1 or 2h” cant be compared to 42h + daily conquest bonus, wtf u saying?

This changes nothing, its still 33 ilvl diference against a 9/9.

Thats a joke, comunity management think the playerbase is stupid.

PvP problems will only end when theres a single ilvl in conquest gear.
