Sadly we still have no news. The assumption is that we won’t have anything special at all, just 3 raids on rotation per week and higher ilvl, meaning the same exact status quo we have right now with nothing to spice it up.
Or should we hit the copium, and just believe that theres some super secret fun stuff coming with it? Or maybe we are just waiting for info next week?

What exactly are you expecting? We’ve known what is coming in Season 4 for a long while now.
Now, the PTR might be loading up 10.2.7 soon, so look to that for some new stuff if you must.

Nothing, the wish was for a season 4 to be cooking - just wish to open up conversation as to what, if anything, might come up or if we are going on radio silence until S4. Are we getting a repeat of stealth dropping class changes like the Holy updates in 10.2.6? Whatever, it’s an open topic
WE never did have a post clearly stating what we get in S4, we barely know how the new dinar system will work exactly, only assumptions based on the little we saw and was datamined.
Its taking too long s3 has dragged out for far too long and i just caught a 1 week ban on roblox so now i gotta play this and nothing else for one of those 2 weeks
I’m less concerned about what S4 will end up being and far more concerned about TWW/Hero Talent updates being brought to a trickle lately. The culture of needless secrecy hype that’s being established for what will probably be a long haul in S4 is kinda sorta troubling. Attempts to tease upcoming content with an absence of information only truly works if the reveal is supremely unexpected. Short of that is really only stalling for the sake of obfuscation.
(To be clear, I do hope this post ages like milk.)
I’m just assuming it’s going to be fated raids, some new iLvL loot and that’s basically it.
A new PvP season, I am actually looking forward to even though there’s no new actual content, just a new rated PvP mount and set for us to earn.
Nothing totally new aside from new gear and the fated mount.

Do people not read the roadmap? We know exactly what we are getting in S4 and then more will be added when 10.2.7 drops.
Not sure what you’re looking for. This is just something to hold people over until the next expansion pre-patch comes out. The whole point is that it lets them change things up a bit without having to go through the whole process of making a new season (and all the content that requires).
If any class changes they make are like the recent priest stuff they did out of the blue, then it will probably be for the better anyway.

What do you mean no news? We’ve been told there is nothing new, no new affixes for raid, no new m+ affix. It’s literally just the Dragonflight dungeons and the raids we just did. It’s a horribly uninspired season that’s going to die INCREDIBLY fast especially with the drop of Cataclysm too.
I’ve accepted that we won’t get any real experimentation for S4. Only whatever side game timerunning turns out to be. But I was still hoping for some class balancing.
IMHO, the “secret fun stuff” might be in TWW.
Whatever comes before it is damage/cruise control.
And TBH I’m mostly looking forward to soloing old stuff and account wide news over whatever TWW is bringing for the endgame.
That’s how miffed I am with the current endgame meta, whether it’s gearing, raiding, dungeons or PvP, and how bad the plot direction feels atm.
How exactly does the season appearances work? I’ve done about 72 superbloom, seed quests, and weekly quests to get the superbloom shoulders and belt on my priest so I can get the season 3 LFR appearance and it still hasn’t dropped. Do the conversions to LFR appearance disappear in season 4?
Just log into the PTR and check.
Of course we read the roadmap, but this doesn’t mean they couldn’t have done anything spicy while ‘revisiting raids’ - S4 isn’t 10.2.7, we have several weeks, probably 2 months minimum, before 10.2.7.
PTR currently is only testing M+, the few info we were able to get outside of that are extremely limited and not very telling.
At the end of the day, it is just sad we are not hearing anything, so all I was asking is what anyone thinks about getting patch notes next week, or maybe even the day of Season 4 start, if anyone had wishes about it, or maybe anyone worried that the time we have to review Hero Talents is gonna grow shorter and shorter.

I’ll save you some time. There isn’t. The patch is raw.
The fated raid affixes was pretty much pure negative feedback so I’m not surprised if they don’t do a raid affix.
Hearing what? You get to raid on rotation the three raids. You get all of the DF dungeons for M+ and no affix changes. It’s a new season for that and PvP. We get the tier set bonuses and looks that were voted on. We get a vendor for the new currency. We get a new mount for doing the raids on Fated (or whatever it’s called).
The only thing we don’t really know is how much and how often new currency is earned.
That’s all there is to the new season.
