However with the launch of Season 4, the gear from the PvP vendor is the same as that from Season 3 with an increased level scaling modifier. Even though when you hand in your “Awakened Mark of Mastery” reward from the “Dragonflight Season 4 Master” achievement it provides the baseline gladiator appearance for the tier appearance each class voted on for Season 4. It seems kind of odd that PvE can allow players to obtain all appearances of the voted on tier sets, meanwhile PvP gear can only provide the baseline gladiator variant from using the catalyst on PvP items. Additionally it is not possible to obtain the respective elite set for each class’s voted on tier set. The progression of Season 4 rewards the same elite sets as that of Season 3 (which to be fair is what several classes voted for such as Dk, Dh, and Mage). This means anyone who voted for a particular seasonal set appearance with the intention of obtaining it has been mislead (which is especially significant because both the baseline gladiator and all raid difficulty variants will obtainable going forward, whereas the elite sets are time limited).
Blizzard, if you are seeing this, please correct this. Or if it was never meant to provide another opportunity to earn these appearances, please specify that going forward so that people are made well aware during the voting process to avoid disappointment next time.
