The anniversary event is all but guaranteed to not overlap with S2 content. It’s far more likely to start getting news and even the PTR likely around the new year.

The only thing close to a timeframe they gave is we would be closing out the trilogy by 2030, which would mean 6 years or 2 years/exp.
Considering we’ve yet to see Shrine appear in a season since they added BFA dungeons to the pool, they absolutely can.
Just watch S2 pool be something like:
Sanguine Depths
Shrine of the Storms
Theater of Pain
Stonecore.

Tol Dagor only ever sucked with Sanguine and/or Necrotic. Outside either of those affixes its a perfectly fine dungeon.
And there’s no negative sentiment towards Seat because nobody ever actually did that dungeon.

My primary memory of Tol Dagor is Seed of Corruption pulling through the ceiling.

You should probably rewatch it yourself, because they did not say anything of the sort.
Every dungeon in the M+ pool is the worst dungeon in the game. Simultaneously. All of them at once. So it ultimately doesn’t matter what ends up in the pool.
As a more serious response though, I’ll bet people won’t want to go back to Court of Stars, Stonecore, Temple of Sethraliss, Waycrest, Tol Dagor, or Grimrail either. Three of the four TWW dungeons that are ‘missing’ from this season will probably also be reviled once they’re in the M+ pool.
Mythic gnomeregan, all the dire maul wings as 1 dungeon and oculus.

They said a faster cadence, and that Worldsoul would be too big for a single expansion so it was broken into 3. I remember hearing people talking about 1 a year but I’ve never seen that officially announced or spoken by a developer.
