Can people with decent knowledge of the game (at least 900cr in prepatch solo shuffle as frost mage) tell me if we will have an inflated or deflated season based on last expansion? I missed DF s1 si would like the insight

No way of knowing in advance, but first seasons are usually more “inflated” due to more people playing.
We will see a lot more inflation if people just press Q.

Typically first seasons have the highest participation and the most inflation. But we dont know if Blizz will deflate things intentionally like they did in SS for season 2 and 3.

DF S1 was deflated at launch
Shuffle however seemed to have no limitation, I recall first 24 hours or so of season start an assassination rogue hit 2700
Shadowlands S1 had inflation (or maybe just tons of participation) but then Blizz yeeted it and killed the remainder of the season
MMR getting rugged one way or another was kind of rough, yeah. They kind of kneejerked with inflation after that and gave us the most propped up season ever in Unchained.
