To every paladin out there, is there anyone who is going to be fine with Retribution Aura there over Seal of Truth?
I can’t even find a reason to justify it being there. Even for pvp, you’ll just get stun locked and cc’d until the duration is over against competent players.
Is it even useful anywhere?
This entire aura system is garbage, especially ret aura, and this unpruning is a farce they threw at us to sell SL…

I think ret aura can just be the classic version. It would be super helpful for old content farming, or just as a slight DPS increase in unusual way, just as Devo is damage reduction.
Seal of Truth and post cata seals in general can be a separate ‘stance’ thing. I wouldn’t want to choose between clear damage booster and defensive or mount speed.
Like Surgent state, this is just something they threw out there & infact is a nerf to pally when crusader aura’s effect was a passive in Legion & BFA, Retribution was a passive for ret. If they actually put any work into pallly instead of this trash we got, we would had something more like these for auras.
Choices being: Seals, Aura Mastery, Blessings
This way people will have the choices between auras being more active, or staying something passive & only use from time to time for a stronger effect with Aura Mastery. Seals making holy power have some synergy with auras and acting similar to how seals function from Cata to WoD. While with Blessings we trade-off between having all the benefits of all the passive effects of the auras or sharing those effects with our allies, similar to how Guardian from GW2’s Virtues works & a similar system is finally in the game; in the form of Final Reckoning.

& I came up with these ideas based on 1 of my post & had read some feedbacks on how some people wanted a passive & forget it type of gameplay for auras while others wanted seals back similar to the MoP-WoD era pallys. So just reading a few forum post & I came up with this, imagine if blizzard actually care & did any actual work than creating all these BS barrow power that no1 wants; so that they can create some trash that they have to go back & fix like what they do every expansion.

This is a good idea, so it will definitely be ignored. Seriously though, I like it.
