I was working on getting my character the key to UBRS via seal of ascension and have completed the first step ( collect an unadorned seal and the three gems from LBRS) . I accepted the second step to the quest in which I am to go and mind control emberstrife and breathe flames onto the unforged seal.
I had the quest in my quest log before TBCC came out, but at some point during my adventures in Outland my quest log was full, so I decided to drop the seal of ascension quest thinking I could pick it back up when I was ready to work on old content again.
Upon going back into LBRS to speak to Vael, I was surprised to see there was no quest available for pick up. Strange, I thought to myself. At this point I noticed that I still have the provided quest items (Unforged Seal of Ascension and Orb of Draconic Energy) so on I went to Dustwallow Marsh to see if I could complete the quest.
I was able to successfully mind control Emberstrife and breathe fire onto the Seal. However, because I was not on the quest I was unable to interact with the completed seal.
To further troubleshoot, I deleted the remaining quest items I had in my inventory and made my way back to LBRS to see if this would cause the quest to be available.
Unfortunately, it was not.
I have reloaded my UI and disabled all add-ons to attempt to be able to pick up the quest.
To no avail.
I have no idea how this could be fixed, or what any solution could be, but I am in desperate need of assistance in this matter.
