The Seabound Mystics for “A New Invention” for Hunter’s in Legion simply don’t spawn. Ever. I’ve been checking multiple times in multiple hours for days on end. They never spawn. I’ve gone into “war mode” four times and gone back, and they still don’t spawn. I’ve attempted to join groups, but unsurprisingly, not a lot of people get together for a quest that’s been bugged for several years.
This is all setting aside the fact that none of the other mobs for this quest are hard to find, they spawn all the time. The quest gives no indication that these specific mobs will be “harder” to find, or that they only show up at certain times, or anything at all indicating that these will be different in any way from every other quest you do, which just has mobs spawning all the time.

I’m noticing this issue myself! Checked the area so far 3 times over 2 days, and still absolutely 0 mystics! How are we expected to progress if there are NO pops PERIOD of the necessary mob appears? I’m also wondering why, after this long (how many years), is it even still an issue?!? Can we please fix this? Whether you make the mob pop, or change the Essence drop mob… anything to make it a little easier? It shouldn’t be like trying to find the Holy Grail!
IK its way out of the way but go to chromie and reset the timeline to present day now go back to blind marshland it worked for me

I spend about 2-3 hours at different moments and waited, but nothing happens.
I went to the server restart and they were all there. Had to kill about 10 to have the Eseence of Pure Spirit. GL everyone
I’ve been trying to do this quest for over a week, flying over to check many times a day. This is so frustrating. I just came back to WOW after… I don’t even know. I stopped before Legion hit. Now it’s a frustrating mess!! Wowhead info is just useless because of all the times and continent changes. I am trying to do my hunters order questline and there’s so many guides and … most of them are wrong. Know who gives me the most “right” answers now? Google AI. I can’t do this part of this questline until I do these 48 quests first… omg.
Oh and apparently I can’t get the Legionfall starter quest because I need to level a character to 80 there and then another… and skip the leveling quests… and get another quest on that character to start the Legionfall questline? What about the first one that I’m working on?! I am about ready to step back again 
I’m doing this on my 80 Hunter and I’ve completed TWW and opened the Earthen race. For perspective. (Not the Tauren DK above)
